Our Lady's Message of October 25th 2007
|
“Dear children!
God sent me among you out of love that I may lead you towards the way of salvation. Many of you
opened your hearts and accepted my messages, but many have become lost on this way and have
never come to know the God of love with the fullness of heart. Therefore, I call you to be love
and light where there is darkness and sin. I am with you and bless you all.
Thank you for having responded to my call.”

elcome to Centre for Peace Pilgrimages
“A call to Medjugorje is something which cannot be ignored” is what pilgrims who have been there will always tell you.
It was on the 06th Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparition in 1987 that Kathy and Clive Goble took their first small group of pilgrims to Medjugorje. Upon their return they knew that they had to tell the whole world what was happening there.
Out of their ‘life changing’ experience in Medjugorje Kathy and Clive created ‘Centre for Peace’ which operated from a small room in their local parish centre.
In 1991 a Centre for Peace shop was established in Ilford, Essex to sell religious books, rosaries etc. while spreading the ‘good news’ of Medjugorje and encouraging devotion to The Divine Mercy. The shop became and still is a ‘haven’ for those wishing to gather together to discuss their religion and/or everyday issues.
Since then the Centre for Peace have continued their pilgrimages even during the war years when pilgrims were few and far between. In March 1992 the Centre for Peace, while holding their rosaries, led the English contingent on a Peace March through the war torn streets of Mostar.
Through those early contacts in Medjugorje the Centre for Peace, to this day, stay with the same families who welcome pilgrims with open arms. Indeed they have become more like family than friends.
The Centre for Peace tour guide, Franjo Zubac, was a member of Our Lady’s original prayer group and it was this group that was led personally by Our Lady to a deeply spiritual formation through locutions received by Jelena and Marianna.
The Centre for Peace continue to do things in much the same way as was done then.
